Orbitsoftwares's mission is to enable everyone to realize the full potential of their data. We do this by providing an open source, declarative DataOps OS that treats data infrastructure as code, unlocking software engineering best practices across the entire data lifecycle.
Orbitsoftwares started inside GitLab in 2018 as an open-source dashboarding solution. The team quickly realized that the real bottleneck in data wasn't dashboarding—it was the fragility of ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) pipelines. Orbitsoftwares evolved into a powerful CLI and orchestrator specifically designed for data engineers who wanted to treat their pipelines like standard software projects.
